ROGERS, Ark. – Registration is open for one-day, hands-on computer training and technology classes offered by the University of Arkansas Global Campus in Rogers. Participants can hone their skills in Microsoft and Adobe applications.

Participants can register online at the Global Campus Rogers website.

Starlyn Danley, assistant director of computer training programs, and industry experts will teach 27 classes through June in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint.

“Our classes provide personal, expert instruction that takes participants step-by-step through workbooks approved by Microsoft and Adobe,” Danley said. “Classes are designed to meet students on their learning levels, helping them to elevate their expertise. This benefits both workers and employers.”

Seating is limited to 12 people per class, ensuring that students can ask questions, get help and easily interact with instructors.  Participants keep their workbooks (included) and gain access to further online tutorials to reinforce in-class learning.

Most classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a break for lunch (not provided). Exceptions include half-day classes as noted below. Most classes in spring will be offered at the Rogers location, Suite 402, 3300 Market St., in the Pinnacle One building. Four classes will be offered in Fayetteville, 2 E.
