Program Prepares Human Resource Professionals for Certification Exams

ROGERS, Ark. – Registration is open for a 15-session program at the University of Arkansas Global Campus this spring to help human resource professionals update their knowledge and prepare for certification exams.

Participants can register online for the Society for Human Resource Management Learning System sessions set for 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 2 through May 18. Participants can connect live online or meet face-to-face in a classroom in Rogers, at 3300 Market St., Suite 402. Participants unable to attend the live course can also log on anytime, from anywhere, to view the recorded sessions via Blackboard Collaborate, once the sessions have aired.

This course is offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management, the Arkansas State Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Northwest Arkansas Human Resources Association. Visit http://shrm.org for 2017 exam costs and application dates.

The classes are designed for human resource professionals preparing to take the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification exam administered by the Society for Human Resource Management. The program provides continuing professional development and a broad overview of the field.

The course cost of $1,349 includes 15 class sessions, the 2017 SHRM Learning System books, access to Blackboard Collaborate, an unlimited number of practice tests on www.learnhrm.com, and all recorded sessions. A 10 percent discount is available to U of A faculty, staff, students and Alumni Association members.

Please note the course investment does not cover registration for certification exams.

Participants will benefit from instructors who are experts in the industry, Web resources and mobile applications, a structured learning environment, and the opportunity to build a peer network.
