Food Science Club Holding Annual Apple Butter Sale
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Food Science Club at the University of Arkansas is holding its annual fundraising apple butter sale.
The club has been making apple butter for more than 20 years as a fundraising activity. The apple butter is made in the Department of Food Science from regionally-grown apples. Proceeds from the sales are used to assist in the education and career development of food science students.
The butter available for purchase at the Food Science Building, 2650 N. Young Ave., or contact the Food Science Club at foodscienceclub@gmail.com.
The prices are: $3 for an 8-ounce jar or $30 for a 12-jar case and $5 for a 16-ounce jar, or $40 for a 12-jar case.
The Food Science Building is 2 miles north of the main campus at 2650 N. Young Ave. Drivng directions from campus: North on Garland, turn right on Cassatt, then left on Young. The FDSC building is on the right. The main entrance is in the two-story part of the building. Parking is free.
