U of A Science Café: Arkansas Mosquitoes and Mosquito-Borne Diseases

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas has mosquitoes! That we know. But are these the ones that carry diseases such as Zika! Join Fayetteville's 'town and gown' community in the university's award-winning Science Café: Food For Thought to discuss this real world, current topic of great importance to each of us.

Sponsored by the STEM Center for Math and Science Education, the UA Chapter of Sigma Xi research society, and the Arkansas Biosciences Institute, the event is open to the public, free of charge, and held in an informal restaurant setting as a time to sit, relax and chat about the topic of the night. Food for purchase will be available.
