Teaching Innovation and Pedagogical Support site Faculty Support Site Could Be Unavailable July 30 and 31

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Teaching Innovation and Pedagogical Support site at tips.uark.edu might be intermittently unavailable Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and 31, while the Global Campus performs server maintenance. If an error message appears, please try again later.

The Blackboard Learn Help Desk will provide extended hours for faculty from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 30 and 31, during the potential tips.uark.edu outage.

Tips.uark.edu is a support site for faculty who use technology in teaching face-to-face, blended and online courses.  The site contains best practice information and step-by-step instructions for topics including Blackboard Learn, creating and streaming video, web-conferencing, online proctoring, creating accessible content, and course design. The site also provides a calendar of workshops, technology training dates, and faculty development events.                                                                                                                                      

Faculty, staff and students can reach Blackboard Support by calling 479-575-6804 or emailing bbhelp@uark.edu. General online step-by-step instructions for Blackboard Learn are available at help.blackboard.com.

In general, the Blackboard Learn Help Desk is available Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 6 to 11 p.m.
