Fulbright College Celebrates Scholars Who Graduated With a 4.0 GPA

New Fulbright College graduates who maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA as undergraduate students.

Nearly 1,100 students applied to graduate this spring from the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, but only 42 of these new alumni did so after maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA and completing more than half of their coursework with the University of Arkansas.

These distinguished scholars are now moving into the next phases of their lives by pursuing medical degrees, starting new jobs and continuing their education. The group was recently honored at the college's annual Scholars Breakfast.

"We're incredibly proud of all our 2016 graduates," said Todd Shields, dean of Fulbright College. "And this group took their scholarship to the next level by striving to reach the top marks possible. These students are incredibly hard workers and I have no doubt each will achieve their future academic, personal and professional goals."

New graduates who maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA include:
