Autumn Parker and Ryan Miller, members of the 2016 Red, White & True volunteer team, share why they love giving back to the U of A.

The sixth annual Red, White & True faculty and staff campaign wraps up on Dead Day this Friday, May 6.

As the university concludes another busy semester, please take a moment today to check "giving back" off your to-do list. It's quick and easy and makes an incredible difference for the people and programs we work with on campus each and every day.

Your participation is what matters most. A gift of any size counts and can be directed to any college, department, program, scholarship or fund that's near and dear to your heart.

The reasons to give back are endless. But don't just take our word for it. Here are a few of the many reasons staff and faculty are proud to be Red, White & True, year after year:

  • "I love my university, my community. Just giving back a little bit of what I have received."
  • "The University represents the best our state has to offer – to Arkansas and beyond!"
  • "I work in the History Department and see firsthand how much students appreciate any little amount of funding they receive."
  • "U of A Cares is a project I assist with, and I see the far reaching impact it has on students in need or in a crisis situation, … from financial struggles to mental illness and health issues. U of A Cares!"
  • "Even if I can't give back very much, I know every dollar I can give is making an impact on the life of current students and future Razorbacks."

Ready to make your impact? Simply return the envelope you received last week in campus mail or print a new participation packet. You can also sign up online for payroll deduction or contribute any amount with a credit card.

Gifts are confidential and are not shared with the volunteer team. For questions about your participation status or individual giving, please contact Merin Macechko, staff liaison for Red, White & True, at 575-2944 or merin@uark.edu.
