ROGERS, Ark. — Professionals can learn to manage time effectively by employing tips given during a lunchtime workshop offered online or in-person next Tuesday, Feb. 16, by the Global Campus in Rogers.

This tips course on time management will show participants how to evaluate their use of time and identify common barriers to effective time management, specifically in the workplace. Participants in the “10 Tips for Time Management” class can meet face-to-face from noon to 1 p.m. in Suite 402, 3300 Market St., or learn via online simulcast.

Registration is available online. The cost is $29.

This class is part of the "Lunchtime Workplace 'Tips' Series" offered by the Global Campus.

Professional organizer Amber Taggard of The Organizer Chicks will be instructing this course and will help provide insight on how to get the most productivity out of your workday.

“As a professional organizer, I am probably most passionate about the time management work that I do because it is so impactful,” said Taggard. "People can buy more clothing, earn another vehicle, or acquire a new home, but there is nothing in this world that we can to do gain another hour at the end of our day.  It’s up to us to use the passing time to the best of our abilities, and I am honored to help my clients do just that.”

As a result of this class, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common barriers to effective time management,
  • Establish best practices to avoid these barriers, and
  • Assess the relationship between the physical environment and time management.

Participants can earn one recertification hour from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute.
