University of Arkansas Nursing Students Collect Food for Thanksgiving Baskets

Eleanor Mann School of Nursing students at the University of Arkansas delivered bags and bags of nonperishable food items to Fayetteville High School on Nov. 20 that will help provide Thanksgiving meals for Fayetteville students and their families.
Fayetteville High School Student Council members helped transfer the bags to another vehicle to be delivered to The Outback, a clothing closet and food pantry operated by the Fayetteville school district.
The students, faculty and staff of the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing donated the items to help the Student Council with a food drive organized by Michelle Fyfe, high school track coach.
Other students helping unload the food were Allison Zeagler, Alex Price, Amani Wilson, Eva Bogomilova and Thomas Baker.
The U of A students who organized the collection at the nursing school are seniors in the Community Health course. They will collect food again after Thanksgiving.
