University of Arkansas Staff Senate will roll out the first annual Staff Appreciation Week for the more than 5,000 staff members on the Fayetteville campus. All week long, students and faculty can join in the fun and show appreciation to their favorite staff members by tweeting #StaffSooie.

"We are overwhelmed by the support we received from the administration, college deans and the college community," said Trish Watkins, Staff Senate chair.

From Monday, Oct. 12, through Sunday, Oct. 18, there are special events planned for staff as well as specially created discounts.
