Final Reminder: Women's Giving Circle Accepting Grant Proposals Through July

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Women's Giving Circle is accepting proposals for programs and initiatives supporting the campus and community. Projects may include work that focuses on or serves campus initiatives, community needs or statewide programs.

Please visit the Women's Giving Circle website to learn about the proposal application process or to see a list of past funding recipients. The deadline for proposal submission is 5 p.m. Friday, July 31. Grants will be awarded during the fall voting event on Oct. 23.

If you have questions, please speak with your unit's development officer for clarification or assistance in preparing your proposal. All proposals must be approved by the dean or vice chancellor of your unit before they will be accepted for submission. The Submission Cover Sheet must be included with your proposal when it is submitted to the grants committee for review.

The Women's Giving Circle was created by the founding members of the Women in Philanthropy Committee of the Campaign for the Twenty-First Century. Since 2003, the circle has awarded funding to faculty and staff members from various departments and academic units at the university. Now in its 13th year of funding, the circle hopes to reach a milestone of awarding its millionth dollar in grant money this fall.
