Shuttles Available to Students for Crystal Bridges' International Showcase

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will host an International Showcase from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, with a series of events that will highlight the diversity of cultures in the Northwest Arkansas community.

The Associated Student Government will provide shuttle buses to transport University of Arkansas students to and from the museum. The shuttles will depart from the Garland Avenue Shops on the U of A campus at the following times: 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Students may reserve a seat on the bus by signing up on this webpage.

The International Showcase will feature performances by the U of A Global International Culture Team Band, the Panamanian Cultural Dance Group and the Latin Band Ensemble. International students will lead bilingual Art Talks, present unique art-making projects on the lawn, give live musical performances in the galleries and participate in a Global Fashion Show in the museum's Great Hall. Students are encouraged to bring their own instruments and jam at the Open Mic space that will be provided on the lawn.

Admission to the exhibition Van Gogh to Rothko: Masterworks from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery will be free during the event.
