FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The names of University of Arkansas students who graduated in the fall 2014 semester, or earned a place on the chancellor’s list or one of the dean’s lists, are now posted on the U of A Academic Achievements website.

The names of full-time students who earned a 4.0 average during the fall 2014 semester are on the chancellor’s list.

Each college and school has its own requirements for full-time students to be named to the individual dean’s lists:

  • In the College of Education and Health Professions the top 10 percent of students with a grade point average below 4.0 are named to the dean’s list.
  • Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences students who have a grade point average between 3.999 and 3.75 are named to the dean’s list.
  • Fay Jones School of Architecture students with a grade point average between 4.0 and 3.5 are named to the dean’s list.
  • In the Sam M. Walton College of Business the dean’s list includes all students with a 4.0 GPA and a small number of students with GPAs below 4.0.
  • The J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering dean’s lists are made up of the top 10 percent of students.
  • The School of Law Dean’s list is made up of students who earned a 3.0 GPA or better.

At the end of each semester the names of the university’s high-achieving students are posted to the Academic Achievements list once they have been certified by the colleges and schools.
