Graduate Student to Present Research on Exergaming
Michael Merrie, a University of Arkansas doctoral student in kinesiology-pedagogy, will present his research from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, March 6, as part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series.
The seminars take place in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building. They are free and open to the public.
Merrie's talk is titled "Perceptions of Exergaming." Exergaming refers to video games that are also a form of exercise. He is a member of the research team directed by Cathy Lirgg, associate professor of kinesiology.
The purpose of the seminar series is to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department. Refreshments will be served.
