A locally produced variety program, Sunday Night Service, will soon be heard on the FM signal of the local NPR affiliate KUAF public radio. A production of Artist Labratory Theatre and recorded live every Sunday at Maxine's Tap Room in downtown Fayetteville, the half-hour program has been airing on KUAF 3, an HD signal of talk and news programming, for the past six months. The program features two different formats, "Singled Out," a half-hour interview and performance with musicians, and the "All You Need to Know Show," a variety show focusing on one topic with storytelling and live music.

"It is important for us to feature locally produced programs," said Rick Stockdell, KUAF general manager. "We've been working with the Sunday Night Services producers for quite some time and we're excited to finally have the program on the FM signal."

Sunday Night Service will air Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning on April 5, with KUAF's Sunday Symphony immediately following, airing at 7:30 p.m. The program will continue to be played on KUAF 3, an HD signal, at 5:30 p.m. Sundays.
