Apply Now for Teaching Camp 2015

The Wally Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for Teaching Camp 2015 to be held August 9-11 at The Lodge at Mount Magazine.

The theme of Teaching Camp 2015 is "Meeting students where they are: Building a constructivist learning experience."

This series of interactive workshops will help faculty develop constructivist strategies for their students. By assessing prior knowledge, prompting students to design their own approach to solving problems, and encouraging them to make predictions, faculty will prepare students to become more engaged learners and better able to transfer their learning to novel contexts.

Click here to apply for Teaching Camp 2015.

Applications may be submitted until midnight on Sunday, April 12.  You will be notified of your acceptance the week of April 13.

We look forward to seeing you at Teaching Camp 2015!
